Privacy Policy

How Telegent collects, uses, and protects information across the platform, and the choices and rights you have over your data.

Last updated: July 1, 2026

This document is a working template provided for informational purposes and must be reviewed and finalized by qualified legal counsel before launch. It does not yet constitute a binding privacy notice.

1. Overview

Telegent, Inc.(“Telegent,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the a.i. mobile network, a platform that provides programmable U.S. carrier voice, messaging, and cellular connectivity to businesses and developers. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. It applies to our websites, consoles, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Telegent is headquartered in Lehi, Utah. When we act as a service provider or processor on behalf of our business customers, those customers are responsible for their own privacy practices and for the lawful basis of the communications they send through the Services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three broad categories.

Account information

When you create an account or contact us, we collect details such as your name, work email address, company name, billing details, and authentication credentials. For certain telecom services we may also collect regulatory and verification information required to provision mobile numbers, such as business registration details submitted for A2P campaign registration.

Usage information

We collect information about how you interact with the Services, including console activity, API request logs, device and browser characteristics, IP address, and diagnostic data. We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Communications metadata

To route and deliver voice, messaging, and data traffic, we process communications metadata such as originating and destination numbers, timestamps, call duration, message status, and delivery receipts. Where you enable features such as call recording or message storage, we process the associated content on your behalf and subject to your instructions. Message and call content is handled as customer data and is not used for advertising.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Services.
  • Provision mobile numbers and route voice, messaging, and cellular traffic.
  • Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms and acceptable use.
  • Bill for usage, process payments, and manage accounts.
  • Provide support and respond to your requests.
  • Monitor performance, debug issues, and improve reliability and product quality.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and telecommunications obligations, including lawful requests from authorities.
  • Send service and administrative communications, and, where permitted, updates.

4. Sharing and Subprocessors

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Services and as described below:

  • Carriers and network partners. Telegent is built on the largest U.S. mobile carrier. Traffic and the metadata required to route it are shared with underlying carriers and interconnect partners.
  • Subprocessors. We use vetted service providers for infrastructure, storage, payments, analytics, and support. Subprocessors are bound by contract to protect information and use it only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of Telegent, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

A current list of subprocessors is available on request at privacy@telegent.com.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (including telecommunications record-keeping requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirement. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

6. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, least-privilege access controls, network segmentation, and logging and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. For more detail, see our Security page.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Obtain a portable copy of certain information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell it).
  • Limit the use of certain sensitive information.
  • Be free from discrimination for exercising your rights, consistent with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar U.S. state laws.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@telegent.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits. If Telegent processes your information on behalf of a business customer, we will refer your request to that customer.

8. International Transfers

Telegent operates in the United States, and the information we collect may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where we or our subprocessors operate. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

9. Children

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
