Principal/Staff Systems Engineer

Sales Director, Taiwan
(full-time position, location: Taiwan)Responsibilities:
- Account management responsibility for Taiwan-based accounts, with a primary focus of driving Telegent revenue at wireless and PC ODM/OEM’s, design houses and contract manufacturers. Secondary focus is driving Telegent penetration of adjacent/new market segments.
- Responsible for managing Telegent’s distribution relationships.
- Responsible for driving Taiwan revenue and meeting quarterly and annual revenue quotas.
- Responsible for securing design wins for Telegent products at target Taiwan accounts and ensuring design wins get to production. Responsible for coordination of technical resources supporting accounts (FAE, etc).
- Responsible for customer satisfaction of Telegent accounts in Taiwan.
- Share responsibility for Telegent success at Global Accounts who use Taiwan ODM’s – even though purchase of Telegent components may occur elsewhere.
- Responsible for successful coordination and teamwork with Telegent marketing, business development and other Telegent sales personnel whose accounts use Taiwan ODM’s or CM’s.
- Share responsibility with Taiwan HQ’ed accounts who conduct R&D, engineering and manufacturing in mainland China. Must work cooperatively with Telegent China team.
- Responsible for on-time and accurate submission of forecasts, weekly reports, design win progress reports, expense reports, etc.
Requirements:
- 10 years or more of relevant/successful Taiwan semiconductor sales or business development experience with companies and product lines focused on the mobile phones and/or the notebook computer market. Or, similar experience in the same market segments on the device side in either product marketing or engineering management.
- Good general understanding of the end markets for mobile phones, notebook computers and consumer electronics.
- A history of doing business with and evidence of success in closing business and building relationships with Taiwan’s top mobile phone ODM’s (Compal, ChiMei, Foxconn/Foxlink, HTC, Arima, etc) and/or Notebook PC ODM/OEM’s (Acer, Quanta, Asus, Foxconn, Inventec, MSI, Wistron). Demonstrated good contacts and good relationships at the senior engineering and executive management levels of these companies.
- Technical degree preferred (BSEE/equivalent) or demonstrated equivalent technical skills. MBA a plus, as is some level of understanding of Mobile TV.
- Some level of management experience supervising a small sales team or
mixed team of sales/field application engineers.
- A history of growing a Taiwan team and hiring best-in-class employees is a plus.

- Design win/Socket creation abilities. Demonstrated success in design win selling and supporting a customer engagement from design in to production. - Solid technical skills. China Controller
(full-time position, location: Shanghai, China)Telegent Systems (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. has an employment opportunity for a Controller who will be responsible for managing all financial accounting functions for the company. The controller will also be responsible for timely and accurate financial and management reporting, and is expected to establish, implement and maintain effective controls, policies and systems. This is a critical and high visibility position for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and perform day-to-day operations of the accounting functions, including but not limited to general ledger, payroll, billing and accounts receivable, purchasing and accounts payable, fixed assets, taxes, and cash management.
- Manage and prepare month-end close, reporting, variance analyses and account reconciliations.
- Manage Payroll and compliance of compensation tax.
